    Evening everyone!

I'm a proud owner of an '18 SR 4wd 2.7L Taco (currently getting framed replace due to rear-end hit) and I'm needing some help. I've been researching, reading blogs and review lists, and watching youtube for suspension lift ideas.

My plans for my taco are to be able to pull small trailers (light travel and utility), haul the usual things in the bed and be able to go offroad/mudding. I'm honestly looking for like a 2" lift at MOST and I plan to be running 265/75r16's (Revo3 by bridgestone).

I have seriously considered the following items:
Icon Dynamics Stage 2... Seems great for what I need but will it handle weight of trailers and payload?

Icon Dynamics Stage 3 w/tubular or billet UCAs... Which one is stronger? I don't want to drop the money and have something crack or break.

Old Man Emu OME-TAK16...Don't know what options I should pick for that package.

Swapping to Bilsteins or Fox Shock setup.

Any help is much appreciated, also if you need any more information or have other suggestions let me know!

Icon have mixed reviews here. Lots of problems with leaking and poor customer service.

The stage kits they offer make it easy for consumers to pick products but they are grossly overpriced.

$3000-$3500 for 2.0 shocks and an AAL is laughable

He wants an actual suspension lift, to take off-road and not rock crawl the mall speed bumps. That’s a 6” lift.

OP, what’s your “off-road” definition? Have you considered Bilstein 5100’s with 887/8 coils and an AAL in the rear? They’ll be your best bang for the buck and more than likely provide what you need.

Off-road for me is lease roads (oilfield), driving around Moab, going through mud and sand. I’m really not looking to go balls to the wall with off roading, just want to be able to know that I can get into and out of various types of situations.

Do you have part numbers for that setup for me to look at?

And as for the Mall crawling, I’m married and don’t go to malls!

Kink in the Right frame rail, plus tailgate and bed damage.

I personally would go with 887 coils, add upper control arms (you can go with other brands or stay stock and see if you can achieve proper alignment), and the medium duty dakar leaf pack. Or, you can ditch the leaf pack and just go with a single leaf (AAL) that’ll provide ~1.5” if lift in the rear. You can contact Marie there as well, she’ll get you going.

Do you think it would prevent potential sag from hauling a travel trailer?

The AAL definitely would help, I would say the medium duty dakar leaf pack would be your best bet.

    I selected:
    Coils: 2887
    Assembly? Yes
    UCAs: Camburg 1.25” Uniball
    Leaf Pack: Medium Duty

Comes out to $1,955.99 Not bad at all actually!

    Not enough to list
I just did the 6112/5160 Bilstein lift. Also out medium leafs in the back, JBA UCAs, and ecgs bushing. I'd advise to do the bushing if you are going over 2 in lift.
