never seen squibs melt in a toyota. chevys do..

usually just pop new sensors in and a new computer and the systems alive again oh and the airbags themselves

its the inner fender.
you never put sensors IN the fender... too much shit gets in there

 

Don’t forget seatbelt pretensioners. 2001 and up at least.

 

On 4runners I see them actually next to the fenders, not in them.

 

I guess. Either way there is non in the bumper, so a airbag compliant bumper for a 1st gen doesn’t make any difference

 

those count as airbags in my book. they have a charge.

now if a charge doesnt go off that means its ok. (unless of course it should of gone off)

Ik lots of new full sizes when they make bumpers they have to have all the sensor locations installed too before they but them on the market

dropped just a little bit but ride seems fine. Going to take a closer look at it tomorrow. Need to finalize some wiring as well. I do know this though, when winch order is placed - 883s are showing up and going on before the winch does.
