I've had same results with most off road tires. That's why I sell tires when they start looking worn and replace with new.

Ok. New rear superbumps SHOULD be here today. (UPS fault) New dawg over the weekend...Zoey. 5 year old Papillon. Her owner died.

A week in, and I wish I'd tried KO2s before now. Ride's like it did when new....Quiet as it was new... That was "job 1" . Tired of tire noise....

Gas mpg's went back UP a full point. (Av over 2 tanks) Every little bit helps.

Oil change due in next 200 miles.

Looking at a deal on a Galaxy CB. I'd be Trucker Royalty at that point.

OK....Left rear bump stop has now been replaced, along with U-bolts. I now believe I know what destroyed the old set of bumps. U-bolts were roughly 3/4" above nuts (U-Bolt flipped) Under full compression, the rubber bump came in contact with the top of the bolt...damaging the rubber...causing it to fail. U-bolts now cut flush with nuts. After left side, MS was starting to kick my old ass. Quit for the day. Now will do right side in a couple days after some rest. The swap would have taken me about an hour when I was healthy. Took 2-1/2 hours to do 1 side. My days of spinning wrenches is about over. :( So, it's either quit breaking stuff, or, start paying someone to do even the most minor of repairs/mods....:spending:

I love my KO2 c-load 285s for my street rims, and the e-load KM2 255s for my wheeling rims. Perfect combo for me so far. The ride is noticeably better with the c-load KO2s IMO. It's like $20 to have NTB swap my rims or free if I do it myself like I did last weekend as it was the first nice day we've had this summer but honestly for $20 the time and effort saved is worth it for me. Also, keeps my brushed copper Ray 10s looking clean

As recently as 10 years ago, I would have been all for swapping tires/wheels when I went off roading. Not so much now. This disease I have (MS) causes me to be worn out for several days after 1/2 hour of work....(I get worn out mowing grass on a riding mower) So...1 tire/1 wheel....

I bought a 2010 FJ Cruiser last summer, with the intent on flipping it. It had first gen KO's.... They were worn out and had many leaks. Still liked 'em enough to try a set of KO2's on the Tacoma. Love the quiet (relative to mud tires)

5 straight days WITHOUT rain here. It's been 2 years or more since that has happened. Rain later today, possible severe storms...
