Here in the desert there's not much vegetation to retain the heat. So it's cold at night and hot during the day. After 57 years of it, you'd think I'd be acclimated, but nah.

We're under flash flood watches again. Last week we were dry for the first time in approx a month. They're calling for rain all week. Ugh

@Itchyfeet I saw in another thread that you had posted about community property states. I didn't know what it meant, so I started reading. Here's a paragraph I found.o_O

Different times we're living in. Can we go back to when I was a kid and Bruce Jenner was an American icon on the Wheatie's box?

Morning all! Had crazy night last night!! Aus lost. Here’s a lil background of the situation that makes Austins performance more impressive. His opponent is a 4 time world champ in the toughest ju jitz tournament there is. He submits most of his opponents in his fights. Aus was never expected to win. The UFCmatch maker apologized to Aus for giving him such a high caliber fighter for his first fight. Everyone was very impressed that Ramos couldn't finish Aus. They told Aus this is one of those cases where his stock went up in his loss. They are excited to get him back in the ring for another fight as soon as he’s ready! They were very impressed with Aus. Even tho it was a great fight, given all the circumstances, he is not satisfied! Which is exactly what a true warrior should feel!! So proud of him! Tks for the support!!! First fight I’ve watched sober!!! LOL

    Good morning, grandma.
I agree with all of this except the sober part.
    Congrats!

Morning Shauna. Rahl was giving us great play by play feedback of the fight. Sounds like he was doing really well. It was a close decision so it could have gone the other way.
