X runners were something else and a shame they've disappeared. I understand the reasons they did away with them but would be nice if they were still an option.

whaaat is this website legit?? That's almost as good as the 20% off ebay coupon

edit: hey @horntac1 you see this?? That's not a bad price IMO. Never heard of the website though.

not a lot of demand, only pumped out 3k per year, was more work than was worth for Toyota, and the offroad trims were faring better (and have continued to fare better) so Toyota nixed it.

For some reason I think they continued selling them in Hawaii for a while after they were discontinued everywhere else.

@shakerhood: you are correct. hawaii had them for atleast a couple more years before they were phased out.

that'd be the one time Hawaii got something that the other 48 didn't. Alaska and Hawaii always get left out unfortunately. Like the TRD sale? That was a shame.

I bought mine through them. The rear bolts were missing and they sent replacements without question. So I can vouch for them..

Man that's a deal for sure compared to what I have been able to find so far. The website looks legit as well.

BTW sorry for late reply but for some reason I didn't get the alert that there were new postings on the thread.

Thanks for the heads up! Did they come up on a search or have you purchased from them?

I'm looking at the product on the site. They have two pics, one with red TRD and is short while the other pic the TRD is not red and it appears longer than the other. Are there install options and they are showing both?

Those TRD skid plates look great in the showroom. But I plan to take my Tacoma off-road. So I won’t spend money on a brightly painted skid plate that is going to look hawt for 5 seconds.

I like the one with the red lettering. Will it fit my ‘08 TRD Sport, and what is the thickness of these?

Then don’t paint your skip plate. Never seen one come “brightly painted”.
