According to ARB thats a no-no...you lose the air ram effect of air going down the snorkel and it can even create a vacuum that'll starve the engine of air

Yeah at the most I find some trace amounts of water in the air box but nothing that's able to make it through the filter, and that's only if it's absolutely pouring.

Haha oh man I bet. I used to stuff a towel in it when at the car wash, but luckily I always remembered to take it out. I don't even bother doing that anymore though, I just don't point the hose directly at the face of the snorkel

I think the PO or possibly even the PO's to the PO (hahaha) replaced the frame with the door. The stamped number on the door doesn't match up to anything I've been able to track down and the old campways sales guy along with their tech couldn't figure out where it came from. They wanted 400 some odd dollars to replace it with a Leer frame/door. Its this seal here - I can't find one that matches that 'channel'. Right now I'm using some cheap ass door seal I found at lowes. The correct seal is this sort of t channel I guess. Tried a bunch on Amazon, no dice.

The sides don't leak - just the top of the door. SUCKS.

Tried this as well but no go.

I should've kept that snugtop supersport instead of flipping it. Water tight - no leaks. Only issue I had and its a big one - too damn claustrophobic sitting in the back. No sliding window just those crazy barely pop open 2 inches rear quarters. Front window had a slider but didn't fold down/wasn't removable. Couldn't do it.

My Leer100r has sliding windows, the front is a slider and is removable. It's just that door that is fuxored.

Silicone spray all the gaskets and they'll puff back up. And hit the bolt holes with sealant on the hinges for back glass. Should help big time.

McMaster carr has every kind of seal you can think of. Worth a few minutes on there website. They're customer service can find anything if you send the a picture. And seal that gap by the hinge.
