    Draw a line on a map between Louisville (Churchil Downs) and Lexington (Lexington) , I live about 1/3 the way from Louisville to the heart of The Bluegrass... Horse business is huge $$$ at times. Everything has got that way in recent years..Horse racing/showing/jumping/etc has ALWAYS been about money...A way of quantifying "success" in a world of wealth.

    watched that whole clip. Awsome thanks, the memories flooded back. 80’s was when we went to a ton of races. Ole Ned Jarrett comintating , great.they raced like hell on the superspeedways and then beat the crap out of each other on the short tracks. Wilksboro,Richmond( use to be 1/2 mile) Martinsville.Rockingham!and no matter who you pulled for everyone loved Harry Gant!
