I’m waiting until I move, so I can break in the new garage! We’re moving down Wednesday.

Congrats to Mrs EST! She has plenty of experience with needy, grouchy, and misbehaved “children” in her life. Pediatrics will be right up here ally.

*Edit replace “children” with Randy & Tony names interchangeably as needed

That’s what I tell her when I act like a man child. I’m just preparing her for her job and our eventual children!

and a requirement for VA inspection. I have the rigid third mounted to my rack. Welcome to the softopper brotherhood. Make sure to use the snaps they give you for the front of the bed. It will flap in the wind and drive you crazy if you just velcro it.

I must have heat stroke. I totally forgot the shackle flip brackets had 3 mounting holes. They were covered by washers . I moved them forward and raised the shackle mount. Seems a lot better now.

Most of them are in my build thread or on IG. I'll try to remember to get some close ups tomorrow.

Why not move the brackets forward to get the angles back right?

Yup I did. Still not perfect but a whole lot better. I need to get this tent off my truck. Feels like I'm driving a school bus:rofl:

You have a tractor. Oh and I meant the brackets on the frame move them forward a bit and drill some new holes to get the shackle angle better. You could reset the shackle to the middle hole then and still get some good adjustment.

I'm going to see how I like this with the tent off. I dont think anything could make that 250pound brick not feel top heavy. The dakars are a lot softer then I thought they would be but I did get some arch back.
