Watch lawn care nut on YouTube. I’ve learned a lot from the guy and others.

I just got fescue and Kentucky blend to get some grass growing in this heat. 6 lbs of Bermuda premium stuff was 400 bucks! I said ya fuckkk that. I hope it gets brown and dies in the summer cause I hate cutting grass. You could easily spend thousands on grass if that’s your thing. Fescue loves cooler temps and really grows good in spring and fall. Kentucky rye will grow on concrete haha. Only reason I know all this crap is the old lady also called some landscaping companies.

She was floored and so was I when I got quotes. Said not a chance and I will do more outside projects myself. The one company really pushed their Bermuda sod. One pallet covers 500 sq ft, was 285 bucks a pallet! I got 10,000 sq ft roughly to grass. I would need a second job just to pay for grass. Crazyness.

We have about 4 different types of grass around our house. Not sure what the previous owners did, but the front is fescue I think, side yard is Kentucky I think, back yard is mostly Bermuda and weeds, and the other side yard (more like a field) is completely full of weeds and shit that makes my face swell when I mow it.

Our next house won’t have more than .5ac to maintain. I like my land but the full day of yard work on the weekends sucks. Especially when it’s hot AF.

Another outside project complete! Got the fence all installed in 2 days! Turned out better then I thought. Now I can just let the dogs out and not worry about them chasing deer and other critters in the woods!

He led some and I led some, but I didn't try to do Heartbreaker, and nothing else we did should have caused this. :notsure:

I have a Hustler 60” ZTR and a full assortment of Stihl commercial grade goodies. If I had a trailer I could start my own lawn company lol

My kid is only 19mo old, she’s pretty useless..but once she gets old enough she’ll be picking up sticks :anonymous:

So, I was debating take my doors off for shits and giggles today. Should have done it.:annoyed:

Didn't do much but bent the bottom corner of my passenger door. Smh but over all had a great time. Made it to jocasse from gorges so I can make that one off the list. Also made it to the iron bridge on the horsepasture but was gated. Will have to go back to make it all the way across. Son Said we need to do this trail everyweekend. And that's coming from a 14yo! Lol

Chilling from the heat earlier, I put the Jeff Foxworty/Larry the Cable Guy special on Netflix.
    Foxworthy is still worthy.

Boy, Larry has gotten bad. Even on the special, it seemed he was stretching for jokes & was just crude to be crude. He even seemed pissed when his jokes fell flat. That’s the last I’m watching of him.

I should’ve bought more but I’m sure I’ll find more things to buy in bulk on this trip. So glad we didn’t follow gps and took the scenic route along the coast.
