Who gets rid of a truck that clean?

 

I know, it would be fun to have just for the weekends. Its a nice piece of toyota history. I emailed the owner and he has a reserve of $9999.00 tho.

the vehicle report has some title issues but it looks like it might have been a lost title bc the DMV reported giving the owner a new title, i think thats what it means?

No A/C or power steering. Be a shame to put miles on it so what do you do with it?
Put it in your garage and look at it? Adding major miles would kill the value.

Its a hilux. The Tacoma was made in 1995. Probably doesnt matter though. lol

 

Can't tell from the photos whether it has the cheesy spot weld dimples above the rear wheel well on both sides like my 87' did.

Thats one thing i remember about that truck. That and the rusted out beds due to that stupid horizontal seam they had along the upper and lower bed sections.

 

Looks much better than the 85 I found...

old school Blaupunkt stereo control. It ties into the headunit and/or disc changer. I haven't seen one of those for a lonnnnnnnnng time.

 

That is a 5 band Blaupunkt Equalizer. I had one of those on my old stereo system in the late 80's. It was cool in the day! Nakamichi cassette player to the Blaupunkt EQ, to a Roland Reverb (just on the rear channels), to 5 Precision Power Amps, (4) 10" Coustic Subs, 4 MB Quart 6.5" component in a 1987 Toyota Corolla Sport Coupe. It sounded great!

If anyone buys the truck, I would like the Blaupunkt EQ!
