http://www.toyz-unlimited.com/ This place is somewhat near me. Says they have 4 vans in their yard, they may ship too. May be worth giving them a call.

The closer to San Jose I get, the nicer the dealerships are.

This is an absolutely massive service center. It’s the size of a warehouse.

While its a huge service center and 'pretty' parts department, I'll never trust them again for service. These are the boneheads who told me my stock UCAs couldn't do any better with my OME coils and left me in negative caster. Bastards. Custom Alignment took care of it without issue. Then there was the rear axle seal nightmare with that service department - actually, that was before the lift & alignment. Service Advisor tried to charge me for labor on the brake service when they were already charging me for labor on the axle seal - what? they going to charge me twice to put it back together??!? A quick chat with the Service Dept Manager and all was taken care of. Still... kind of leaves you with a FCK THIS PLACE - TAKE MY $$ ELSEWHERE feeling.

Like I said though, decent price on parts on par with Gunny and available locally only thing is you have to place the parts order on their site and select will call. I'll only use them if in a pinch and need it immediately instead of waiting for gunny to ship. Camelback Toyota is still the best IMO

Reference this one for the console - not sure which you need (WTF, 70 bones for the ashtray??!?!? lol)

the seat bolts I can't locate on gunny's site... probably just need to figure out what grade and grab something at Ace Hardware.

I went to the Milpitas Toyota per your recommendation and to my surprise they actually had the connector I needed.

That sucks, glad you got it fixed. I’ll never buy locally again after that window trim fiasco at the Hayward Toyota. I’m just desperate for parts so I’ll pay whatever their premium is.

The connector with pigtail was only $14. Guy dug through their overstock electrical bin to find it for me.

Just checked Gunny and CB has it for 6 bones. lol. Still, figure factor in what little the shipping - which you know he's going to have to charge for a little item like that - and the time delay, locally is totally worth it if you need it immediately. Cool you got the part. Now lets see if you can get out there for a test drive in this crazy ass rain/thunder.

Totally worth it for me just considering the convenience factor. I could’ve saved $10 and gotten it off a Camry at the junkyard if I really wanted.

I know I’m going to get ripped off if I buy locally, that’s just a fact of life. Glad they had it though. Parts guy was a lifesaver.

So heres my initial turd gen impressions. This one is a 2019 Trd sport A/T V6.

It does like to hunt for gears, especially on hills while cruising at highway speeds. Is it noticeable? Yes. Is it worth bitching about as much as the third genners do? No, imo. Cause its trying so hard to get good gas mileage, which is something Taco owners have always complained about. This one has averaged about 19-20 mpg, which I think is great, coming from the 08 that gets 16-17.

The tech is nice, no complaints there aside from the lack of power adjustment in the seats.

There is a slightly noticeable shimmy coming from the rear brakes whenever braking somewhat hard. I understand this is normal and theres nothing Toyota can do about it. My 1st gen does this too, if not a little worse.

As I stated earlier, Im not crazy about the interior color palate, but this a rental, and if I was to buy one I imagine I could option it differently. Oh, and Im not crazy about the cloth seat material, they feel kind of cheap. I would definetly look for leather seat covers If I bought one.

Also, my only exterior complaint is the hood scoop. It looks great from the outside, but adds to an already huge blind spot whenever looking out the windshield.

The TRD Pro at my local dealer was marked up by about $2,000.

This one is a Trd sport, with a sticker of $36k and some change. Honestly if I was to buy one Id go SR5. I dont think the differences between it and the sport are enough to justify the price jump.
