I run SDHQ inner's with the boot slide mod and OEM outers. Not ideal but works for me so far. At least you will have tons of spare parts.

No clue, saw it on FB. Has to be something wrong, no way a modified V8 would go for that

One month and four days later, project crawlbox is done. Let’s go wheel!

Dang those headlights look bad. Guess I’ll add that to the list of “not gonna mod it” mods.

Don’t try to tell the non-TN TW crowd that headlight fixing isn’t a mod...that’s right up there with weathertechs and plastidip on everyone’s mod list :D

Don’t get me wrong, I put them in my F250, my Dad’s Dmax, our work F250, my old work F250 and my old 4Runner so you could say I’m a fan too. They just aren’t a mod :luvya:

Keep buying them, they are manufactured down the street from me and thus keep my property taxes relatively sane for around here.

It's the other way around, TG has the oddball thread, I have an OEM knob on one of my RAD sticks, and the marlin knob on the other.

@slander did I dream it, or did you tell me there is some combination of gears you want to avoid?

For instance, if I want low range, but not double low, should I use front case low + rear case high? Front case high + rear case low? Does it matter at all?

You are dreaming. 99% of the time I will be in 4.7:1, and only used the stock lowrange ontop of that when I wanted to really crawl like through a rock garden. I rarely if ever used just the stock low range.

What you want to avoid is leaving it in gear, double low and pushing the clutch in and letting it roll. You spin the trans input shaft to like a million rpms and you can blow the bearing apart. Always take it out of gear if you have to stomp the clutch in and let it roll in double low.

    Thanks.

Yea, low/low is pretty ridiculous, but I can’t wait to use it in the super technical stuff. The amount time I’ll have to see what’s going on and make a correction has increased by one million.

Also fun to put it in low/low I’m the driveway and shift through all five gears as fast as possible. Feel like a trucker. Haha

Put it in double low and stand on the brakes too! Either in 4wd or 2wd is entertaining
