One of my wife's roommates from college was from China. She put some cooked chicken in the microwave for 15 minutes. It stunk in the building for a week.

So while it rains I polish and rub back to black.

Shines pretty good in the garage

Poor girl got a preliminary top and black restore. Do it all over again next week. At least it don’t look like it’s neglected....
Vehicles took a hard hit this year.

I'll have to look in the garage as to what I used on my fenders the last time, but it was in a spray can and has really held up well. I want to say the last time I did them was last summer and they are just now turning gray again. Of course we don't have snow or road salt scouring them though I'm sure the amount of sun we get isn't easy on anything. The first spare tire cover I had only lasted a couple years before it got brittle.

The lake is a overflow to another lake. That’s why it’s called locally as the overflow... lol.

The top lake had to be drained as it was high. So from there to my fav lake down the open dam.
So now it’s closed and takes a couple of weeks to come back to stablize....
    Nuts

Road salt and snow ruins the plastic. The only way to keep them pristine is keep it in the garage and polish it once a week and don’t drive it in the winter.
It’s a hard life up this way for a vehicle and if you want it to keep halfway decent you have to keep after it every chance you get. And with bad winters and salt it’s impossible.
    So we make due...

If you can, put the power 6"-12" deeper and flag it. If not double flag the trench on top of the utilities, cover 12", flag the shit out of it, go up another 6" and toss in metal cans every little bit so it can be found with a metal detector then finish it off with your favorite flavor of dirt.

When I'm digging and, whether I suspect there's utilities or not, I really like to see color change in the dirt and always look for it. Sometimes it's sand and sometimes it's pea gravel, but it lets me know something is/was there and we stop and probe or scratch around with a shovel. I'll use a wooden handle to probe. I'd hate to get lit up with a metal probe. We have some 480 direct buried so not much is in conduit unless we're the ones putting it in.

What we would do is lay corrugated iron about 12” above the direct burial MV cable and then red caution tape about 12” above that and then yellow tape 12” above that. A JCB don’t care, but at least it may pull up enough to get someone’s attention. Quick and dirty in east africa

    I almost finished
well I had to bust through some limestone shelf’s along with rocks and it’s a little over a foot deep. I need water to be deep for winter and deep for summer to have cold water.
