Sorry about the delay - here is a couple showing the wiring...

First picture is the negative bolted onto what was recommended by running4tacos
Second is showing how I exposed the green wire in the back of the fog light, and tapping into it.

Aren't these just a plug and play, or are you actually having to splice wires together?

They are Plug'n'play - if you chose to connect them to your headlights - but I wanted mine connected/switched with my fog lights. This requires some very minor splicing...

I'm struggling back and forth between amber or white. How are you liking the whites since switching?

Got my R4T white lights installed last week. I like how they turned out. I have them connected to the DRL's and to be always on, like on their YouTube vid.

I’m happy I made the switch. You can’t go wrong either way. I like the white better for my setup because with the yellow fog light covers I didn’t like have 3 different color lights.

I started with the Amber then switched to white. I think it matches well with all of my other leds

Even with my hood scoop light and behind grill light it matches but they blew up my camera when i turned them on

guys, i have a question. if you have the raptor lights on the low beams plug and play, can you splice the DRL cable so the amber lights are on when the DRL are on as well? or it wouldn't work?

I think it would because it will supply power to the lights. All they need is power to turn on. The DRL light are on when the light are on so not sure why this would be needed. They will still be on when the headlights turn on.

Edit. I misread that. Yes, it would still work. You do mean having a dual set of light?

what i tried first was the DRL fuse but when connecting it, the amber lights would still be on when the truck was off for some reason

Interesting. Seems there is a constant current running to them. Weird when the truck is off. I have mine to the low beam fuse.
There are a lot more knowledgeable peeps here than me so I’m sure someone will chime in to help you out.

Well, I should’ve waited. Ended up buying a set on eBay before I saw your post. They appear to be the same base types as runnin4taco’s offers, but without all of the “extras”, for $38. If adding up those extra’s, the value from runnin4taco’s is better.

From what I’ve noticed, those extras that runnin4taco’s include:
    - Properly sealed wires into the lights themselves. Can do this on my own with some electronics grade silicone. Probably adds $15 to cost and labor by itself. That stuff isn’t cheap.
    - Properly installed ring termination for the ground (labor cost)
    - Included and properly connected add-a-fuse. That’s another $15, cost and labor.
    - last but not least, I have to assume the lights are tested for function before shipment. More labor cost.

Add all of that up, and runnin4taco’s isn’t making much money per unit sold at all. Loads of value for the consumer imo.
