My son used that one all the time ' Even after the 1000 yard stare went away.

 

I had to practice to relax the eyes lol. The piercing glare gets tiring after a few hours lol.

I honestly practiced how I looked about 4 years ago, and it tripped out the privates I was in charge of when I would flip the, "Imma kill you bitch," switch look.

 

It was strange to see how he had changed after being over there 5 years .All good now though .
I have a deep appreciation for all you guys .and your Service.

 

Thanks to you and your son. It's not ready being the soldier/marine/sailor/airmen, but it's just as hard being their family, albeit in a different way. My wife was lucky to not have to deal with my combat deployments, but I had a good support network in my family. My father is a veteran of 12 combat deployments, himself, and it was therapeutic for me to spend time with him.

That is Awesome 'Some of my son's friends were not so lucky they did not have that support 'although he was there for a few .

 

My leg got ran over, i had black marks. I think super aired-up mall crawlers with 100 pound tires going relatively show and drunk dudes equals crushed brain box

 

I count myself very lucky my support network.

So, I am working with my local chapter of TX4WD (TX4WD Bay Area)and we are currently electing our officers. I am in the running to possibly be VP and even if not I have been asked to help gain attendees and donations/raffle prizes for our one big charity event in December called Wheeler's for Wishes. It's being held on December 7th in Pasadena, Tx and it looks like this year will be a show and shine(possibly with a car crush)and we will be holding a raffle with all proceeds going to Toys for Tots.

I was hoping to see if I can get a feeler for who in here might be interested in attending and/or donating something for the raffle? I've already spoken with @lilred95 so at least I'm off to a good start there!
