I dipped for about twelve years. At my prime, I was going through a can and a half a day. That lasted for years.

I backed off the high nic dosage by transitioning to low nic vaping. Vaped for about a year. Quit cold turkey in November. Haven't touched any form of nicotine since, but I'd be a lying SOB if I said I don't still get cravings. Tonight is particularly bad because I have my final exam tomorrow evening.

 

I went out to dinner with my wife, then girlfriend and a couple of her friends. Nothing fancy just Denny's. I ordered the t-bone steak and eggs. The waitress brings all our food out and sets it down and we all start to eat.
I pick up my knife and fork and take a bite of eggs and some hashbrowns. Meh, it's ok.. not great, but what do I expect I at a Denny's in the valley. I go to cut my steak and low and behold its frozen God damn solid. I am completely astonished, can not believe this is happening kinda thing. The steak is brown on both sides as if it was cooked sorta warm to the touch, but a frozen brick. I call the waiter over and tell them, she takes my plate and heads for the kitchen. She returns 10 minutes later with a plate and sets it down. Its the exact same plate as before except now the steak is thawed, still not cooked though. Wtf! Plus now all the salmonella mest juice is saturated my hashbrowns and ruined the eggs. I ended with moons over Miami.
That's the last time I order a steak at a denny's.

 

It's the craving. Quitting all things nicotine was, like yourself, one of the best decisions in my life.

 

Hang in there. People like you and Shad give me hope.

 

Oh hell no! I did do that about 4 or 5 years ago though.

 

What do you expect eating at Lenny's?
