Game Of Thrones

Bingo.

 

As much as they butchered some story lines this season I think the ending was good. And Bronn truly won the game of thrones.

 

I really don’t understand how he didn’t become king. Everyone just forgot he was a Targaryen all of a sudden

 

Nah. Ending was terrible. Here is how it should have gone:

1. We find out Tyrion was really a Targaryen. He was supposed to be named Aeshorteon.

2. He orders the dragon to kill Daenerys. She was ready for dragon fire, but was she ready for dragon farts?

3. Tyrion becomes king and marries Sansa. (Totally plausible: remember how important the right pair of lips were to his ideal death scenario)

4. The coronation banquet is in the diner where The Sopranos ended.

5. We see John Snow enter in a a Member's Only jacket. He goes to the men's room.

6. Tyrion smiles at Sansa.

7. The screen goes black.

 

Garbage series finale. WTF.

 

GOT is one of the biggest cash cows HBO has had in a long time. They won't let it go gracefully. Expecting a couple of really bad spinoffs.

 

They already have a prequel in the works.

 

I've heard they are already working on a project that has Tyrion rooming with Charlie Sheen in SoCal. Rumor has it it will be called "One and a half men"

 

This right here. A couple "here-you-gos" and blah

 

I’ve heard there will be the spinoff of arya. Which could be cool as long as she continues to be a badass. But as for the rest of the episode, pretty boring.

 

All joking aside, the last season was a dumpster fire. The show would never have become popular based on this kind of quality. Total letdown.

And the spinoffs I've heard of will likely flop. We either know the ending (prequels) or there is no real character tension (e.g. the Arya angle).

 

I'd watch an Arya spin-off, but I'd be super concerned they'd eff it up. The showrunners are great at bringing Martins story to the screen, but I don't have faith in them writing their own version.

 

I think a series on Tyrion traveling the world and having encounters at all the finest whore houses would be entertaining. There's no telling what trouble he could get into from one week to the next. Could call it Good Eats.

 

I wouldn't be concerned. They are guaranteed to eff it up. As you said, we have seen how they do off the Martin map.

 

OK...that I would actually watch. Religiously.

 

Shallow, empty, lazy. The last 2 episodes must have been written by a 12 year old...

 

Agreed I would watch a spinoff of Arya

 

I think we should give this Tyrion/brothel tour/Serious Eats angle some more thought.

 

Arya is old enough to come along. She could provide security.
