Constant power to cigarette lighter mod??

This is the first vehicle i have ever owned that did not have power to the cigarette lighter when turned off.
Can anyone share a link or any idea of how to mod this?

Rewire it to a fuse that is always on, do an add a fuse. I just added a 2 usb port “switch” to a switch blank and use that.

I believe the cig lighter in the armrest is always on, but could be wrong

Sliding Roof and Seat Heater fuses are always Hot. Get 2 add-a-fuse/circuit and jump those fuses to the 2 outlet fuses.

 

I noticed at first when I installed my dash cam and plugged into the center console port, I had to turn it on. After a while it just has constant power without me having to power it on, just thought I’d mention it.

 

You should get that "fixed", seems like a failed relay inside the Body ECU.
