Based off the efficiency charts for the MP90 S/C, where did the peak efficiency land as far as pulley sizes? Is there much to be gained going below 2.5"? I know a few have gone lower, but to what gain?
I am at 2.825" and would like to take a big step. 650cc injectors in hand.

The MP90 on my 4.7 blower came with a 2.2”. Let me see if I can find that performance chart.

Disregard. I have an M90 not the MP90. :anonymous:

CAI really wakes it up in high rpms. I recently installed the AFE Magnum and love it.

I would not recommend 4.56 gearing for 33s. When I had 295/75/16 I was close to 3k at about 75. 33s would be worse. Maybe a hair better with an auto, but with a 6 speed manual I wasn't a fan of it. Unless you're offroading like every weekend and will utilize lower gearing like that, I'd go with as close to stock gearing as you can. I'm leaning towards 4.10s and 33s at this point and maybe bumping up to a 34 down the road.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
There is a gearing tool on Tacomaworld that will auto calculate for you your gearing and wheel size to show where you would end up compared to stock. But, what he said is great info. I am on 4.88 auto with 37s and still am geared too low for any economical highway speed. Great for Colorado and hills, but it all depends on what your need/wants are.

Yes, like 10.3mpg. All city and lots of WOT stuff. The UCON under same conditions was around 12.5mpg but didn't run nearly as well.

I am hella overgeared with 34's and 4.88's. Cruising at 80 in overdrive is 2900 RPM but it is so nice when I hook up to my camper. so I will deal with it. MPG's are at about 13. 8-11 mpg when towing my 7800lb camper. All I know is that it does it well but I need a larger gas tank! Yes I am asking to add even more weight. LOL.
