Probably too late now but if it happens again and you didn’t find the leak, check the passenger side seat belts - pull them all the way out to see if they’re wet.

Ok. What would that determine? Leakage on the B-pillar?

Yeah, but since you didn’t do a roof rack it probably will be dry. If it was the rear brake light, your headliner would be wet in the middle towards the seats in the back. Good to check anyway in case that windshield leak is not found.

Sounds good. I’ll double check the rear again. I’m thinking about going to a self car wash and try to replicate the problem by spraying my truck down? Bad idea?

Also check cabin air filter area and look down into the blower motor/squirrel cage fan area for any water. If water came in through the cabin air intake, that's where it would go and it would end up on top of the floor mat below the blower motor.

Not sure... there are some good suggestions being offered here to try first.

I had this happen to me many times during a hard rain.

The water runs down the window and drips inside the door. Depending on the angle you park at, the water hits the back of the speaker and drips down onto the door panel, and out onto the floor mat.

Use a 2nd person and very bright light on a pitch black night. That will reveal things that are 'direct path'.

Interesting. The small puddle that I found on the rubber floor mat was closest to the door. It wasn’t all over the floor mat either. Just a small puddle.

That’s a good idea. I flashed my light under the glove compartment area and didn’t see any sign of water run off, etc.

Have someone run water over the truck and look for and leaks. Or when you wash the truck with a sprayer . Sit inside and hopefully you can catch a drip. If all fails, you have warranty.

So I Went to a self car wash today. I sprayed the truck down for about 10-15 mins. Checked the floor mats and there was no puddle.

I checked about every hour and no puddle. :notsure:
