Before I changed my splits, I use to do Bi/Tri in the same day, however... I added in forearms too. Also when doing triceps, I typically do about 50% more focus on them over bicep, since the tricep is much bigger than the bicep (by nature not by my workouts).

I've only heard beneficial things from 'liquid' B12. The kind you ingest or inject. Methyl b12 or something. Super hard to find - seems more RX related?? Idk, but, it's EXPENSIVE!

I started with injections then migrated to the sublingual and now I’m on a schedule with pill form. I take it like every 5-6 days.

I have noticed an enormous difference with it if I’m super beat from workouts I’ll take an extra one and it seems to help my recovery/energy.

Also tip: if you are going to be doing some heavy drinking take one before you start. Helps with hangovers lol.

Nice, where did you pick it up at? I heard to avoid the pill only because the liver filters it out so badly it just doesn't do much at that point.

    My physician recommends these.
Injections were Rx but these I buy OTC.

There is a specific way to take B12 though. Almost like Vitamin D like you have to aggresively saturate your body then back off to a lessened schedule.

I did start out with a horrible deficiency last year so thats why I was started on it. But my latest blood tests are coming up in normal ranges and I still feel a difference when I take it.

IMO, intermittent fasting is a joke. The more I read and learn about nutrition... The more I realize these "fads" that people do are just that...

It's not magic, and if IF works for you because you can't control and understand what you eat so you limit your meals to only a small window.. Then it'll probably work (only because you're eating less food - therefore in calorie deficit). However, at the end of the day the same thing can be achieved by eating 6 meals, with the same calories as the meals done during IF.

I gotcha. I was just curious about people’s opinions and experiences with it. Genuinely just a curiosity thing

I used to do IF, or at least believe in it. Id even do a fasted workout before my eating window opened. I don’t buy into the magic beans anymore. Like @Supra TT said, at the end of the day it’s calories in vs. calories out. Your body needs to be properly fueled for what you’re putting it through so I think if anything it’s better to make sure you’re eating the right stuff at the right time. My current coach has been good about telling what and when to eat and I can tell a difference when it comes to energy. For example, eating around 50g carbs 15min before a workout and then consuming around 50g protein and around 30g carbs after. Where as I used to eat a pop tart on the way to the gym but it’s better to limit fat. Now I eat it after. One way or another, I’m eating my pop tart :hattip:

A friend of my has my same autoimmune condition and she too has a lot of GI symptoms with it like me.
I find if I avoid processed foods I’m fine. I eat 6 meals a day and that works best for me. Smaller meals more often and low carb is the sweet spot.
She finds the IF helps her a lot. She only eats over a 12 hour period each day. I think there are different ways to approach it but she says it works well for her.

So I guess it just depends what the goal is and why one is doing IF. There are studies that show people who are in a chronic caloric deficit are less prone to chronic disease. Its obviously impossible to live life totally in a deficit but IF will help you live in mostly a deficit state.

I think it all depends on you as an individual and your schedule, GI habits, and what your activity level is.

Yep. What they said, IMO. It's calories in vs. out at the end of the day. If intermittent helps you do it and your body does well long-term on it, why not? (AFAIK)

1 week since my cut, down 6#. First couple days were rough, I ate under my planned deficit because food just didn't appeal to me (WTF BODY). Anyway, was back on track Wednesday, and this weekend was good. I weighed myself after Saturday night cheat meal (so sunday morning) and was down to #220 from #226. I lose weight fast... This happened last time too and it's not what I wanted... Calories are going back up to 3k this week to see if I can slow down the weight loss (must be rough I know...).

Anyway, feeling better though, clothes fit nicer and I don't feel like a bloated sea manatee from noon-sleep time. So positive things so far! Vascularity is coming back too.

What do you guys do for cardio? I really need to up my cardio regime. I can’t run, kills my knees. My only cardio now comes from when I surf and it’s not consistent enough. Thinking maybe see if my 24 membership is valid at the one closest to me cuz they have a pool so I can just swim.

If I ever do cardio, its on a stationary bike or mountain/street bike outside. I don't enjoy anything else (treadmill is ok...).

Damn. I wish I had more garage space, I’d get a rowing machine. Might try and see if I can get one of those swim devices you hook yourself in to so you don’t go anywhere but are still swimming. We have a HOA pool so I could probably just hook up to the in/out stairs thing.
