Hi all, I have a 2017 Tacoma SR. I've owned it for almost 3 months, but only been able to drive it for 5 weeks. The issue with the truck is that the speedometer stays stuck when increasing or decreasing in speed (known issue with the SR trim.)
The dealer has been cool about it, agreed to fix it and gave me a loaner. The problem I'm having is that Toyota Corporate says there's no parts available anywhere in the U.S. and that they are waiting on the manufacturer for the gauge cluster.

It's my first tacoma, but its already problematic. Does replacing the cluster guarantee a fix?
At what point do you all think i should move on?

    I'd let them fix it.

No need to move on , the cluster should fix it . Everything breaks down here and there . Where there's trains there's train wrecks .

Good point. It's just odd to have an issue like this. Ive had many other vehicles and nothing of this sort before.

Join the club... bunches of us have and bunches of us haven't. Just let them find the issue and fix it.... if it doesn't fix it, return it and they get to try again or move on to the next issue that may pop up.
