I really dig into the trd sport rims... I have sr5 4r rims and I like them but I really like the “metal” look of your rims instead of painted ones..

 

My wife surprised me for my birthday and Father’s Day by getting my windows tinted. No more driving a fishbowl for me!

35% on the sides, 20% on the rear window.

 

Compiled a snapshot of the 3rd Generation Tacomas I’ve purchased. The SR looks good compared to TRD Sport and TRD Off Road.

 

I'm interested in the tale of three Tacomas.

 

Nothing but a bunch of debt and regretted decisions by trading Tacomas for car/crossover. Eventually downgraded to the SR trim in light of rolling negative equity. I’m planning to hold on to this one for the long haul and perhaps give it to my son.

 

Thats why you put better wheels and tires on it and then put all the other junk on later!

Thanks. Lights are aftermarket OE replacement. Couldn't get my hands on a set of factory ones in time.

 

I've read the fog light install threads on the forum and they're either wire them in with all factory parts and change out the headlight stalk switch, or wire them directly to a dashboard switch and turn them on manually.

Does anyone know if it's possible to just wire them so they come on all the time with the DRLs? That would seem to be an easy solution.

For today’s “after everyone’s in bed” project, I added a set of front mud flaps to hopefully keep the side of my truck cleaner.

I used two of the supplied self tapping screws to mount them to the fender liner along with three of the stock fender liner bolts. Hope they last and provide enough coverage when I move up from the stock 245’s to 265’s.

 

Been a while, had a few upgrades here & there. MANY MORE TO COME!!
