    Level with 5 threads? I have Dakar medium as well and I got Rake with my 600 but I’m showing way more threads too.

    Thanks for your input. Trying to figure out how many threads to go with the 650s. Either level or a little higher up front. I can’t stand the “stink bug” look.

    I went with 600s coils because I really do not plan to add any weight to front.
    I want to be prepared for the installation so it can go smooth as possible.

    I want to get 2.5in of lift, from what I have read I’m looking at 11-9 threads showing, can anybody chime in on this?

    What grease should I use on the UCAs?

    Thats what I did and got pretty much exactly 2.5 inches above stock. Be sure to use lube on the threads if you aren't using a compressor

    Pretty good. Not exactly a cloud on road as some say, but nice. You will have firmer tires which you will notice and there is more bump steer than stock. The shocks are definitely made for off road at speed, which is where they really shine. The springs also take weeks to really break in to the point that they are cush. I usually run them pretty close to full soft on road and pretty stiff off road or for extended highway cruising (Colorado has some tight corners on the highways)

    Im at 10 and 7 I believe. I'm right around 2.5". I have BAMF sliders and RCI Aluminum skids.

    Hey guys so im having a small dilemma on what to get. So i talked to Micah from D S M but i want to hear from your guys experience with the dakars.
    should i get dakars or another type of leafs. What would you guys recommend?

    This has to do with the stack height of the Dakar pack (they are tall) which requires a longer shock

    @Funzy I would rather stick with the standard king shock. Do know what other set of leafs would pair good with the kings standard rear shocks?

    Also, the extended Kings are the same as the regular ones but without the limiting bushing for extension. They will work for whatever spring you want

    I got the extended for a Dakar pack later (currently running AAL 1" lift). They're definitely longer than stock shocks.
