Yep, that's how the news companies are nowadays, nothing but lies and misinformation to get more viewers. Especially when it comes to news stories on the Police.

 

on CNN now being debated

 

Wow, don't know what happened or who's to blame if anyone, all I'll say is that the offroad events I've seen in the past that the spectators have become lax in putting safety first & positioning themselves in dangerous zones to get that "awesome action pic" & I get that, but ya gotta accept the risk that go with it, these race trucks aren't on rails, there on trails with jumps, bumps & fast sweeping corners & bad things are going to happen from time to time.. God speed to the Dead & God speed the recovery for the injured.....

 

I am thinking the same. A very bright guy I know made an connection to European Rally racing where people are right up on the track too.

The one blessing that can come from this tragedy is for all of us to take our safety measures up a step and look out for all our brothers.

CNN is doing a good job being neutral. They are explaining MDR rules and are saying it's an organized event and that it isnt just hooligans out there hucking their trucks. They are stating it is a rare accident and is being investigated.

wow I'm center frame in that CNN video, it was shot right from the TW camp (thankfully at the launch of the jump)

 

The Sheriffs dept. just released 7 of the 8 names that passed. So sad.
