For lowers, check put tactical.maching out of deland Florida. Used to be owned by a friend of mine, and the quality of these is extremely high. And budget friendly.

It is the lower I used to build my 10.5" sbr.

 

Could look around and pick up a $35-50 Anderson arms lower.

Last batch of blems I picked up at the transfering dealer, they where surprised they where blemished.

The anodized finish was a bit thick and the take down detent spring holes needed to be reamed out a touch.

 

If you're looking for your first AR and want a pistol then maybe 10.5" is the way to go. I looked on Palmetto's site and all the <10.5 are all 300blk. I figure you want something cheap too being the first one? Palmetto is the way to go.

 

Next time we try to organize a group shoot I'll try to make it so you can shoot it suppressed too

Nope the end cap needs drilled it was a form 1 can . Now that stamp is in hand I can drill it out to finish it. And then it from a paper weight to a functioning can
