@eon_blue How much oil did you put into your SC? I squirted both bottles (8 oz) into the snout and it hasn't reached the bottom of the fill port yet.

 

2 bottles if I remember right, but I have a different supercharger...I dunno how much yours should hold

 

I would assume just as much

 

Same blower and snout, Eaton M90 or M92 I believe.

hm, well if it's the same snout then it should be 2 bottles...gotta be right up to the brim if you did use both, should be good.

 

The 5vz is a m90 I believe

 

I think it's just cause the 3rz has the SC vertical rather than horizontal. Def enough oil with 2 bottles

hell my supercharger ran with hardly any oil for god knows how long and it's still kicking. When I did my first oil change on it maybe 10k miles after I bought the truck, I was only able to pull about half a syringe out. God knows how long the previous owner ran it like that.

yeah tell me about it, worried me a lot then but it's still running fine. Doesn't sound bad, though I am coming up on 80k miles so it should probably get a rebuild maybe next year sometime. I change the oil on it every 25k, done it twice now.

That's what's happening, that's fucked. If it means subverting California and the morons therein than I'm happy to ship things to you for whatever the shipping cost may be, likely not much with my various discounts
