I'm sure it is. He has a small outbuilding where he does all his gun business? Spivey Lane?

Charles is his real first name, but he goes by Scott. Or at least, has for me.

That’s right. I remembered that after I started thinking about it.

He's kinda out in the sticks, (and when you're in Leander, the "sticks" is really saying something), and I wasn't sure about walking in the door of that outbuilding the first time...

Haha. Yeah. He’s just down the road from my house and I know his family so I felt okay about using him but it is in the middle of nowhere. I actually did the funeral service for his Mother in law.

Funny story about the first time I went and picked up a transfer from his place. I had to go over there late in the evening and as I was headed home down Bagdad rd I got pulled over. It’s pitch black outside, we’re in the middle of no where and all I could think about was I have a rifle laying in my back seat and a S&W 9mm tucked beside my drivers seat. I really hope this officer is cool and doesn’t over react. The officer walks up to my Ds window and asks for ID etc. I immediately told him about the guns and he was totally cool about it. He asked my where they were and what kind they were. We sat there and talked guns for about 10 minutes he gave me my ID and sent me on my way. It’s amazing what a little honesty and respect will do to diffuse any potentially challenging situation. That was LEANDER police. I have another story about CP Police that is almost the exact opposite.

I did my doors and the back area as well. Used Dynamat Extreme, wasn't too bad just tedious. I've read there are cheaper alternatives, but I have no clue on them.. This stuff really does cut down on sound leaving the vehicle, and also road noise as well

I’ve used peel&seal a few times, it works pretty well as long as you take the time to make sure it’s stuck in all the corners and edges. It’s the same butyl rubber compound as dynamat and same thickness. People knock it but it’s cheaper and it works so that’s my two cents.

Do you have a circuit breaker on it also or just wired straight to the fuse panel?

Up north, we called that the mailbox curl. So you could look in w/o taking the hat off. Can't do that with a flat brim...
