Yep. We live in an expensive area and build top notch stuff, from the best materials.

I don’t need them because for the reasons described that’s exactly why i didn’t get windows. That said you’re stuff looks amazing. And if you came up with insulating panels and began selling bugscreens for the lower portion I’d predict you’d be a very busy man. Nice work!!!

That's not a rude question, we get it all the time. We don't use Reflectix because it a reflective-based product meaning that in order for it to be effective, it must have the shiny side facing out, it's "crunchy" and the core is just air bubbles. Low-E is the insulation that we use because it's made from aluminum, which creates a thermal barrier on both sides and uses a polyethylene core. Low-E is made to be used as a roof underlayment and although the black fabric on the outside will absorb some heat, the heat transfer is minimal and we'd rather have the clean finish rather than a tin foil look. The stealth look is more important for van camping on the street obviously.

We have patterns for the side panels too, but they may be cost prohibitive since they would be magnetic and removable. Low-E or Thinsulate 4000 would be a good option for those panels, but the only way to get them to stay in would be spray adhesive and I imagine most Go Fast Owners prefer being able to pressure wash the inside.

I’d actually say that isn’t true. While the GFC started out pretty utilitarian and rugged a lot of the builds I’ve seen involve drawers, slides, wood cabinets ect., and can not be hosed out. Might be a market those panels don’t hold any heat what so ever.

Did they have the new roof bars with them? I believe they are called Beef Bars and are supposed to be available next month.

I would jump all over this if it was for all panels and the price wasn’t so high. Looks I’ll have to stick to DIY.

I’m guessing there will be a lot of movement on the leaderboard when everyone gets settled from expo west. I’ve been in “sealant curing” since 5/6/19, so twice the amount of time that it’s supposed to be.

I’m not complaining, and I’m stoked that it’s basically done. I have a couple weeks till I make the trip out to pick it up.

Is the production time of 6-8 weeks still accurate? Mine went into production recently and I need to plan out some vacation time too pick it up but I don't want to be too early

Mine is in "sealant curing notified" right now. I'm hoping to be driving to Bozeman next week.

A few pics of recent trips in the GFC. Added the Prinsu rack and a Plano box for extra recovery gear storage. Have had this for a month now and spent 8 days in it. The wedge life is awesome.

I really like it, gives you a ton of views. I’m hoping it’s going to come in handy during the hot weather this summer too.
