Mostly for when needed around the house, since I don't have an air compressor at home. Also to turn the compressor on prior to airing up, that way I'll have a tires worth of air on standby and should hopefully speed airing back up. It takes approximately a minute to charge the tank. I plan to T off and run a hookup on both sides of the truck. Im only using the factory arb pressure switch which I'm not 100% sure what it his regulated to. The tanks has a relief valve @165psi. I came across an old jobsite compressor that needed a new compressor but the rest of the components where good. Just need ~15' of hose to run from the front to the back.

Sweet. That tank has a relief valve for 165psi. I should be fine.

    Sounds like a plan

Id wanted to do a air tank that fed a water tank and would keep it pressurized. Ended up being to lazy and just use the water jug instead lol

I've had it a while now and finally decided to just do it. I'd like to run the occasional air tool, cut off or impact, but that is probably pushing it.

I used a prototype snellfab mount for the twin. Mounts to the core support near the radiator.

I had that same desire at one time. Sadly, the spare has been back under the bed and a high clearance bumper and swing out are not to be seen in the near future.

Air tools were once a desire. But now i just have the cordless stuff so the air tool stuff went out the window.

My spare doesnt fit under the bed lol. Well not with the current bumper and hitch i have (and tire size)

I have a small pancake style tank I pulled off of an old mill fixture that I had planned on hanging in a similar fashion using the spare mount.

Uh....didn't cross my mind. My 265 Cooper St Maxx barely fits there and I was contemplating going up a size later this year.:annoyed:

a little light dead blow "massaging" to your tock spare locating brackets and you can fit a 285 no problem. or cut them off!

Would just depend how its all done. My 285/75/R16 would fit if i didnt have the hitch installed. A bumper with the hitch integrated would work. Mines a separate deal than the bumper so takes a bit more room so pushes the tire to far forward and over the axle

Need a hitch. Ultimate plan is a high clearance rear with swing out to replace damaged bumper and damaged area of the quarter panel. Not a priority right now but might have to set aside a little fund source. If there wasn't nine month lead times and no guarantees, it would have been done already.
Plus I need to spend some money on actually excursions. Ain't no good if all you do is build and no wheel!

Plenty of options these days with better built in hitches. When i got mine there werent as many options. I like the relentless fab option with their hitch. Mines an old All-Pro one and the hitch ends up mounting behind it basically
