    Bought a Tundra
    Not to anyone in particular, but the JBL head unit is not plug and play with non-JBL systems. The JBL uses an external amplifier, and does not have an internal amp to power your speakers.

    Now, with regard to whether there is a harness/adapter available that allows you to run an aftermarket amp with the JBL so you can use it in a non-JBL truck, I have no idea.
