yeah that's the plan, just gotta sell the dang RTT...or it'll be a while before I start buying/collecting stuff for ground tenting.

 

not sold, but I do like the gazelle a lot. of all the instant tents I've seen it seems the best. the others I like aren't tall enough to stand up in, and screw that.

 

Hey guys I'm pretty new here but this caught my eye has I'm an HR Manager. All things mentioned have been pretty solid advice but one thing that hasn't been mentioned and happens more than people know is that depending on the job they may ask you to leave that day instead of working out the notice. Given they usually still pay that notice period but the liability isn't as great with said employee not working.

My advice is to talk to your boss, dpending on your relationship and give your 2 weeks but if he asked for more since he will be on vacation, it may be something you want to consider since the company seems to have been good to you. More than likely that won't happen but just something to keep in mind. Hope this helps a little.

 

yeah I can guarantee it won't be an immediate termination. they don't really do that here unless it's requested or you really F up haha. but thank you for your advice too!

BTW I'm from Northwest Alabama so its nice to see some others so close to me enjoying some of the same things I enjoy. Y'all seem like a pretty close group on here.

I hunt a good bit and shoot bow almost everyday. Have a good friend that has been trying to get me into shooting comps for the past 6 months but haven't done it yet.

 

Join your local county BHA club. There are shoots all over the surrounding counties. Shooting 3d really hones your hunting skills. It's great how the 3d season ends and hunting season begins.
