    Try a strong magnet near the cylinder. Didn’t you just recently change out your stereo speakers? Are the old ones still in your truck? One of those magnets oughta do the trick. But make sure they key is in the cylinder as you put the magnet up close.

    Yup, just use a tarp, two tent poles and some rope for the time being. That's what I did until I was ready to buy an awning.

    They sell individual telescoping tent poles that work real well for this.

    I'm skeptical about it working with the drifter though. The part that goes over the back of the 4R above would need to wrap around the bottom of the drifter tent or the back of the drifter just above the rear window.
