    Not much future in crops this year. A few put corn in early, about 2 weeks ago and those are getting ready to do a "second" planting for what got washed away. But with the tariffs on beans no one is planting soy, at least no one around here. There is no future in it.

    But because every one is planting corn it will also be bottomed out this fall with a glut of corn on the market. Had dinner with a friend last week that is a farmer and he has 11 acres left to plant on his land. The Mississippi River has flooded it so bad this year he can't get to it. Well he could but likely bury the tractor and planter trying. He has other work that he does to actually make money in his words.
