You just need to massage the firewall back a little. You'll rub on the frame probably though at full lock with the 12.50

Theoretically I think I figured I would have even more space on the inside because the wheels will be offset -40 something mm, and that is why I am worried how much I will have to bang on the firewall

You shouldnt have to hammer on it that hard if you are really worried find a buddy with 33s and do a mock up.

    Stuff. Also things.
You can definitely wait and see if you ever go to 35s/315s, but tubbing is really the only option for those sizes.

When I tubbed mine, I used a brand new 315 (34.5”) with a 3.5BS 16x8 wheel and no spacers. When I was almost done, I threw the 1” spacers on just to make sure that I wasn’t rubbing the outside of the rear of the fender at full lock/stuff. I also used a set of old OEM bumps that were cut down to half their height so that the tire would stuff further. I ended up cutting more that way, but that was the point. I’ve never come close to rubbing anything but the frame at full lock/stuff since then.

Sorry for the thread jack, Jaime. Those pictures are fucking sweet! Super jealous!

Tubbing really isn’t too bad. I had a LOT of help from my god buddy Tanner. He had done his, and a few others. So he knew the deal. Driver side was tougher. Passenger side was not as bad. Each side takes a day. We didn’t rush and it came out really clean on mine. There’s pics in this thread

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I will get there in the future but probably not for a few months at least now. The rims that the 33x12.5s I looked at didn't clear the calipers

Some progress on the flatbelly stuff. Decided not to go completely flat. Driveline angles would have been difficult to deal with

    But this is much better

Got a solid start on patching up the interior tonight too. I won’t show you that because it’s like a war zone in there.

    But she looks cute

    Thanks fellas.

Settled on this bracket for now. A bit thicker, has a dimple for some rigidity. Pretty solid.

I recently scooped what looks like the same sound deadening material as you. The 50 sq ft. of 50 mil on Amazon. I put it on my doors, but it didn't quiet things up as drastically as I thought it would.

Did you only do the floors panels? How much of a difference did it make?

Trimmed some fenders a little to clean it up, and did a few little things to the truck. Need to test it out.
