I don't know if this is an issue with my regulator or an issue with the Miller itself. I know the gas doesn't work the whole time.

Good idea. When the gas does flow, it flows with the force of a thousand suns. Adjusting the valve doesn't do anything, it's either gas or no gas.

I hope it isn't something in the machine, but who knows. This thing has been abused its whole life.

The fact that you have gas flowing tells me it could be the machine. Crank your needle valve in all the way, then slowly back it out with the hose disconnected to the machine. Sometimes you gotta spin it a bit to actually change the flow rate.

I wonder if the AC clutch is bad and not engaging all the time.
If its blowing ice cold then it isn’t a seal system issue

Let's say it is the machine. Is this a cheap valve I can replace, or is it the whole control board?

Actually $30 an hour is cheap in CA, make it $60 and you gotta deal.

And of the two, I believe Im the only one who does it for a living. :luvya:

Sorry, James, cant let that one slide.

Currently. I dabbled in wanting to become a welder back in highschool. Got enough skills to earn me a job while Im in school for robotics.
