Your welcome, it’s not really comparable but it’s the next best thing. I like how effective it is an no air related or electrical stuff to go wrong.
Poor man locker is with a lsd engage the e-brake about half way an that puts resistance on the rear axle kinda mirroring the same effect as a locker if one wheel if in the air.

I'd believe that over internet strangers guessing o_O

To me it says the Sport features of the year were a trim package on the SR5. Not a standalone model.

Go through the mechanicals well. ALL fluids, full brake exam, etc etc. Someone has done a cheap lift, likely replaced malling wheels/tires with OE size before trading and used bolt on flares. To me that is warning of the potential of marginal maintenance. It may be fine, but just in case......

To add another data point/year, my 08 TRD Sport is the same loadout w/ the SR5 V6 badge on the tailgate. Mechanical LSD rear diff still.

All TRDs, offroad and Sport, start with an SR5 base. The earlier 2nd gen TRDS, 05-11, got the SR5 badge on the tailgate but they stopped putting that badge on the 2.5 gens. OP def has a Sport

https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle Use this website for all of your vehicle questions. This should have an entire history of your truck if it was serviced at dealers and things. It goes based off of your VIN so it should be accurate.

I have an 08 dbl cab trd off road, but its a "rugged trails" model which has stock black fenders and chrome bumpers. but definitely has locking diff switch and 110 volts power to the bed. Some one did put a sport hood on mine also, but that's not stock. Does say sr5 on the tailgate. Came with 16" black toyota Baja wheels, which are long gone, but if i ever replace the ones on there i'll go back to them. Mines white, and I understand this version only came in black white and silver.

Yes this is correct. My 09 TRD offroad has SR5 badging on the tailgate too. The only other option it could be is the prerunner that still has the same SR5 badging

In 2011 the sr5 emblem was removed, at least on the off road models.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that...

Yep. I have an '06 DCLB TRD Sport and it an SR5. Well at least it has a badge that has been on the tailgate since delivery of the truck in Oct 2006.

Finally someone comes up with the right advice. I was scrolling through here getting ready to point him to this site. Kinda disappointing that nobody suggested it until page 3.

To me the grille and front bumper look like a different shade of white. They look whiter than the fender and hood . Could of been from the fender bender
