Tundras.com is a great forum too, and that Tundra is going to pull that trailer, and more importantly, stop, like it's not even back there. It's a solid/capable platform and you're going to love it. It'll get you out in the boonies if you want also.

We went from a '00 Taco to a '10 Tundra (my Daily Driver) and it took me a solid 2 months for me to get used to the size, especially parking. We switched up because we plan on doing a lot more towing when I retire in a couple of years.

I take delivery later this week so I'll be posting them once I get it. Ya, I wanted to stay with Toyota even though (sadly) I did look at a couple "other" trucks.

This is yet another reason we swapped. My folks are on one side of the country and hers are on the other. We got the trailer so we could travel and see stuff when we do.

We had an option to buy my fiancee's sister's older Tundra (2008), which was well taken care of, but I went for a new Tacoma. We pull a 2800-lb dry-weight TAb 400 camper. Very nice aerodynamics, and the Tacoma seems to pull it just fine, though of course lousy gas mileage. I use an anti-sway bar--don't notice any sway at all really.

If we were pulling anything bigger for any distance, I would want a full-size truck.

Might as well compare similar offerings. Glad you made an informed decision. I did the same thing before I bought my Tacoma. Best of luck with your Tundra!

I think my next truck will be a Tundra SR DCLB 4.6L. Rear seat has enough room for adults. Another thought is a Titan Pro-4x KCLB 5.6L. Good value and a bit more current than the Tundra, Not sure I want suicide rear doors again though.

Well, I happen to have a job that I get to work from home so the gas bill won't be too much more than it is now. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it either way.

Best thing I ever did was move walking distance to work. Commuting is for suckers.

Cleaned out the truck today and removed the Tekonsha brake controller. I didn't clean it just took all my stuff out! I should get the call tomorrow about noon. Still sort of sad and somewhat excited.

It'll all be okay. There is a give and take in a relationship(obviously you know this if you have been married for 32 yrs). Glad to see you are getting something that will be good for both of y'all. At least you're not getting a Ram from FCA! Have fun on your future endeavors.

ESP underseat storage is easy to put in the '19 CM. In theory, you could add bed storage cubbies.

Here it is. Looks sort of black in this light but it is closer to brown (officially smoked mesquite). There are things I miss already but I'll get used to it I suppose. Most importantly the wife doesn't get sick at all. Big plus so we are going to long haul test and drive to Indianapolis this weekend. Should be fun!WP_20190523_06_14_01_Pro.jpg WP_20190523_06_14_28_Pro.jpg WP_20190523_06_14_49_Pro.jpg WP_20190523_06_15_20_Pro.jpg

Congrats and good luck with your new truck! I like the color! My 2017 Ram 1500 color was Luxury Brown.

The things you are "losing" are just mods you will make. Gotta make it you own. :)

That's a nice freaking truck, man!

Like mentioned earlier, make it "yours" by modding it to your liking. Add all that stuff you lost.

Side note: I cant believe a "limited" Tundra is lesser equipped than any Tacoma. Unreal.
