Have a 2019 TRD off road that has a composite style bed, not steel and was looking at buying a SC 401 D under cover swing case tool box. Was wondering if anyone has installed one of these. Wasn't sure this style bed would even hold up with this wall mount box and if not, what kind of boxes are people using so they still have a little of the bed to use from the rear. Bed has a tri fold cover on it also. Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

I have no experience with those toolboxes, but did look into them. My impression was they were very expensive and too small for my needs. Instead I bought much larger boxes for $8 each at Lowes. They meet my needs.

That maybe what I do also. I looked at several boxes like that, but want something that wasn't going to be able to move around in bed. Didn't really want to drill holes in bottom of bed to keep them stationary. What kind of flooring are you using in your bed? Thanks for info

Its a rubber diamond tread pattern mat.

EDIT: The Amazon fit guide says that it does not fit a 2019, but they are wrong. It fits my Access cab's 6' bed perfectly.

This same mat is available from other places, like R&L, etc.

Yes I have an access cab also and the manufacturer said it wouldn't fit unless I had the factory storage box and then I had to use them holes to mount and remove storage cover. Thought that meant that the holes were re enforced, because the metal seams thin for a box to be hanging off of. I know it did say 75lb limit, but still was wondering.

    Obviously:

When I was talking about FIT, I was talking about the BED MAT. It doesn't need to be MOUNTED. It just lays there.
