1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I don't like how Lexus fronts look right now, just a big gaping grille with goofy free form shapes. They're currently some of the ugliest Japanese cars ever made to my eye.

Audi, Merc, BMW, are not things that even register on my radar. I have zero interest in any of them

 

i had fun with my audi.. 02 a6 with the 2.7 turbo... was fun when it worked right.

 

I have 0 interest in german too. Rather have a domestic lol.

 

not 100% flat (because its a grand touring car) but its damn flat. very stable car. i wouldnt call it BMW m level performance suspension wise. but damn close.
the track edition probably is flat as hell

That's the problem with euro trash

 

Audi makes some damn good cars... Better than Mercedes and BMW. I'd rather drive a Toyota Avalon over an Audi A4 though.

 

To bad we don’t get the Toyota crown

 

funny i sold my a6 for an avalon..
vastly superior car in terms of smoothness from the engine. but bring FWD the driving feel is nothing compared to the quatro with the super complex suspension (i had to replace all 8 of the front control arms)

 

the toyota 2GR-fe is a gem of an engine.
lotus noticed it. I have the r9k tune on mine.. 7200 rpm on a bone stock engine. and its peppy as hell

 

the avalon was designed to compete against the likes of the buick centry. performance is not its game

 

Only range Rover I want is a older one. Idk the year or model but I've seen one in a nearby town and I wouldn't mind having it. Or a land cruiser similar to the overland bound one.

 

I haven't had good luck with things that come out of the VAG factories... Or BMW... Merc is the only one I'd even consider quality anymore really, even though I find them visually boring.
