What setup do you shoot? Same for comp as hunting or different?

 

I was getting into it before I got married. Had just bought a Mathews Creed and dropped some serious money into it. Was a big bow hunter as well.

Then it sat in the case for 3 years and was hardly shot.

 

Wife and I shot 3d archery for many years and she won 1st in her class and best I could do was 3rd in my class. It's a ton of fun and great for the whole family. Big time hunter here. You won't see me during the Fall, I'll be in the woods somewhere!

 

I have put a pause on hunting for a while to just camp as much as possible since my wife enjoys it.

I used to shoot Mathews. Hell, I've owned a ton of bows back when I was in it to win it. I actually want to move back to a new Mathews single cam model again. I used to have the DXT and the Hyperlite as my hunting bows.

How you like that Creed?

 

Love it! Though it has cost me some money from hitting other arrows while trying to shoot a good group....

I almost posted that but, then read through the last couple pages and saw this!

 

No way man! Glad someone actually reads a few of my posts! I got to sleep in this morning a whole hour!!! Yesterday was last day of school so easy morning!!! Counting down the hours till Friday afternoon and we are beach bound!

 

Elite GT500 74lbs, Spot Hogg Hogg It, Ripcord, Doinker, Proline strings, Goldtip 7595, 310fps. Same bow for both.

 

Just wondering who all in the Bama thread shoots archery.

 

Mornin' Alabama, today's gonna be another hot one. Gotta spend some time out at our Muller machine, dialing in the sand and bond mixture. Sweat, sweat and more sweat baby!

 

Also put up 195lbs on flat bench yesterday! 30 more lbs to hit my 225 goal before the beach!

 

My kids are taking finals today and that's it. They have school tomorrow and Friday, but if they're finished with finals, they don't have to come in. Saves Jeannie some time, from having to rush and get them off to school. Welcome summertime!
