thanks, uh...bruh! i appreciate the link. gonna give that a try...much more elegant solution. still might try the EVA foam. found a yoga mat at the discount store made of 5/8" EVA...i can use it to make 2-3 layers of extra material under the deflector, sprayglued together.

Holy shit...I just got that strip and tried it out. Solved the problem completely. AND, that is one robust strip...clips tightly and takes the curves at the bottom of the deflector like a champ. Thank you! It was a little too thick to keep on the bottom most set of mounting holes...it was rubbing against my truck and didn't want to trap dirt or create wear on the paint...so I had to lift it up one notch, but not to any detriment from what I can tell.

you simply MUST make a "Use this for your Prinsu" top-level thread and include this product.

well, first...that option wasn't present when I first bought my Prinsu. and second, I talked to them about it after the fact, they said they had the trim, but it sounded like it was a very small bit of trim and didn't reduce the sound very much at all (and it was $25, whereas this was only $9 from Amazon). This trim seems a lot thicker than the one Prinsu sells, or recommended when I talked to them over a year ago.

Randy, I thought that was an RPG in the right case! I’m reading on my phone from my rack in the sand box! Never considered my long gun Pelican would hold a prop shaft!

What brand is that recovery box? How do you secure it to the rack?

I'm wanting to hook up an axe to my prinsu as well. What mounts are you using for your axe?
