What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Lol, this one is a DIY one off tacomaworld. Think it cost me about $70 or so.

 

Installed ARB roof rack mount and welded up a rack to fit it. Can't believe the money people charge for some damn tube steel. I already had a JD Squared bender and a tig welder and some 1" .120 wall tube steel. Spent $40 on the cross bars and took me about a day to do the bends and the notching and the welds. I bought the ARB rails because I didn't feel like dealing with making templates and stuff to figure out the roof mounting and I figured they're pretty tried and true. Now I have a way to mount a RTT and carry dirt bikes in the bed.

 

Installed 6112s/5100s and new leaf springs. In case anyone’s curious, the leafs are General Spring KC, it’s their HD pack

 

After swapping the third brake light out for a smoked led version yesterday, today I swapped the tails for a smoked version. The original OEM version is for sale if anyone is interested.

 

Used the truck to haul the last load out of the apartment.Found me a sugar momma with a fancy condo.

 

Little people like 'em, if you have any of those around. I did something similar to make the rear more useful

Custom bed bars installed. Bedside and cooler mounts finished. I also upgraded my RTT ladder to gain a little clearance and some traction.

 

Installed a Plano box on my Access Rack.

 

So you got new tires?

 

The new ladder actually has some nice rubber on the feet

The Tepui ladder is much more stable and sits a couple inches lower.

 

I noticed it was so low I figured you were using the tire as a ladder.

 

Im scared of heights.

 

This truck used to be quiet. Not with the Front Runner roof rack. Seriously so loud now. Hopefully this will help!

 

Let me know how this works. I removed my baja rack for every day use due to the noise (not to mention the hit on gas mileage)
