Be nearly identical with any other rig. If you’re going unloaded, go medium duty. Even loaded it looks more than enough.. unless you’re building a serious glamping machine.

I was just curious as I know stock height is different between 3rd gens and 2nd gens so I wasn’t sure if the “3 inches” is actually 2 inches. Just want to get my ducks in a row before ordering. I’m running these Billys in the rear so seems like i should be ok for the time being until I can upgrade to B110s to take advantage of the droop these are capable of

Your thinking would be right yes a few of the third gens sit higher then the second so if your one of those then your looking about two and a half because it won’t squat as much until you start to stretch em out

Was looking at my truck the other day and seems(looks) like the butt is sagging. :( Would the medium kit be fine for no weight usually in the bed on kings 2 1/2' lifted truck?

Yea man you would end up around 3 inches or so once it settles out maybe a bit more. Gives it a bit of good raie so you have some payload

So by popular demand I have decided to come up with a lighter duty pack for alot of guys wanting closer to around 2.5 inches of lift (over factory spec) but are not hauling a ton of weight. These are a 4 leaf option with overload that are a bit less arched and set for only 300 lbs over stock (per side) instead of the much heavier options I have now. includes grade 8 center pin bolts and front and rear bushings pressed in. Same benefits as my other packs just a lighter duty option. Those are going to be going for $650 shipped to the continental us

Who doesn’t want the extra inch

These (medium duty now?) are officially next thing on the long list of things I had to get around the place and for the truck.

haha no worries man. They can be a bit stiff for the guys that just want a lift and some more capacity. I took my cap off the other day to reseal it and the truck had like 4 and a half inches of lift lol

Which ones are you running? That’s some wild rake haha.

The light duty ones seem fine for looks and occasional heavy loads. I’d rather be a little stiff and not worry about overloading, IMO.

i run the full out 5+1 pack. when i built my truck it had a swingout rear bumper, tool storage, cap, rtt, ect ect. I started cutting stuff off and now i have about 3 and a half inches of lift which works with the 3 inches in the front (i like some rake to use it like a truck) but pulling the cap off was a bit excessive haha. I think for MOST trucks the 4+1 pack is perfect i have a bunch of guys running it with not alot of weight and getting good results. This new one is just another option for the guys that want some lift without going crazy like the rest of us with our 6000 lb midsized trucks

What bushings are coming with these? Does anyone put poly bushing in?

i think one person replaced his with poly bushings. they are the same size as stock so any bushing that works with them will work (same with dakar as well) they come with a factory style rubber bushing. This allows a great amount of flex and tends to keep the springs pretty quite even when covered in mud and all that fun stuff. The pictures at the begining of the thread of flexing is with the bushings that come with the pack

honestly the bushings is a personal thing. I like the oem style bushings when i can which is why i run jba ucas as well because they tend to be quiet. Do poly bushings flex a bit more? Probably but 4 of us are local and all getting between 10-12 inches of rear travel out of these. You will probably run out of shock first. But you can replace with any number of easy to find parts if you decide to later :)

I’m about to invest in some. This is ridiculous. Even the coil has surface rust.. cheap Chinese steel :annoyed:

the nice thing about the kings is the aluminum body so the shocks look fine the fittings are getting crusty but they are steel. But yea like every few car washes i drench everything in the wheel wheels and the rear springs trying to keep it away from any rubber but i dont go crazy and so far so good. I need to pull my ucas this summer and clean and repaint and my lowers are seized too :anonymous:
