99 Tacoma Speaker Choices?

Been looking around the site and toying with the idea of upgrading the sound system in my 99 Extra cab truck. I would like to deaden the doors and replace both the front and rear speakers. I have already replaced the stock head-unit with a Pioneer Avic D-3. I'm not too crazy about the idea of installing an amp, but am not completely disregarding the thought. From what I have read, the best route for me to take is components up front and coaxial speakers in the back. What size should I be looking for? Thoughts and suggestions?

Also, I have seen multiple people suggesting Raamatt as it's cheaper than its counterpart. How do I buy this through TW?

 

I didn't want to put in an amp at first but its pretty much unavoidable if you want a decent sounding system.

the audio guys on here know ALOT. i'm sure they get tired of rewording the same answers but i had a hard time finding any definite answers too. From what I understand your gonna need a 4 channel amp with an RMS output that matches the RMS capacity of the speakers. i think thats the main thing to put together a decent system. the components should come with a crossover that will separate the signal and power to the components. Theres alot more too it than that but its all I've got and everybody will have differing opinions on brands.

 

Its all to your listening and taste. Buy the speakers you like after you heard it. You can run speakers off the deck power but a external amp will make them louder and cleaner. People run components off the deck power all the time. I however...will run a external amp on components. If you are running full coax speakers you can run them off the deck power but you can also run them off a amp too.
