They say they will replace it with "14 SEER Rated System". So unfortunately you do not get to choose (at least with these guys).

 

I WANT to get rid of our furnace...it's propane and costs me a fortune to heat the house in the winter time.

I want to switch it over to a heat pump or a hybrid system.

 

You’ll get a “like model” unit and sometimes be able to pick from a couple different options or you can “cash out” at their price to put the money towards something else like if you’d want to upgrade from a standard side by side fridge to a fancyass touchscreen fridge.

 

Fuck the touchscreen fridge, but those new ones where you can open just a front panel to access drinks and shit is bitchin. I really wanted one but they are not cheap.

 

New fridge is high up on my list of shit to git. Sellers upgraded all the appliance in the house, but they cheaped out on the fridge.

 

I feel all that crap is gimmicky. We bought a new fridge end of last year...looked at those fancy ones but ended up with this one.

 

I definitely don't see a point in a touchscreen fridge. But the front door panel actually does seem useful. Maybe it's bulkier than a regular fridge? I dunno. I personally would love it. Would put all my beers right there haha. But in the end, it's just a fridge and as long as it keeps my stuff cold, I'm happy. I have a side by side, but I prefer the style that you've got. Is that middle drawer a freezer or like a mid-chiller section?

 

The touchscreens and all are gimmicky, I agree, but I have to admit, me and my kids watched Youtube videos on one for a solid 20 minutes at Lowe's one day.

 

Could take the tv out of the kitchen if you had one of those. Lol, my parents have a TV in their kitchen .

 

What about the one that you tap on the front and the one way glass goes clear and let's you see what's inside withought opening the door?

WTF is that?!?!?

We've come to an age where you can't even open the fckn door to see what's in there?
Like how much energy consumption does it take to open the door to see how much of a gallon of milk you have left?

 

They have fridges that will inventory your shit and send you a notification to your smartphone when you are going to run out of something.

 

All that shit is only made to last a few years as well. Take a look at Samsung appliance reviews, they are completely terrible.

 

I think it'll take them a while to solve all the kinks out. This seems promising tho cause sometimes people will forget about things they need to restock on.

 

We have this one at home. I think it's pretty practical since you don't have to open the entire fridge to chuck a small item into it.

 

The one I saw just had the glass. So theres a door on it as well?

 

Have the exact same fridge and it’s awesome. Love the way it’s laid out.

 

There should be a mini door integrated onto that glass for those smaller items. It's completely separate from the main fridge.
