$300 for a spring replace isn’t bad at all. We had one broken spring and the door fell off the track had it like that over night.

 

Parts and labor too, two out of three were replace. The third one was replaced a few years ago.

 

Cool I'm getting em then and turning em black, I'm silver with chrome and need some contrast, before everyone jumps one me for blacking em out

Except its a lot different. Its easy as pie to decompress a strut safely. Those garage springs get wound around that bar quite a few turns. You slip up, you could die.
