    I like the B&W.

I like the contrast. In the color shot, I think the background is a little distracting.

Im assuming that you’re referring to the Reliance, but it kinda sounds like you’re talking about your cousin.

I’ve been enjoying shooting pics the past 8 days on a cruise with my new Canon, got home and realized I was shooting .jpg the whole time :annoyed:
I did get some good pics though.

Well, I’ve been wanting a strobe for interior work but haven’t wanted it enough to pay for it so found one in dad’s closet to use for now.

It works OK for what I need, took some photos at a birthday party tonight and the lighting was vastly improved, however I’m not sure if the capacitor will fully charge and about half the time I had to manually restart it to get it to strobe after a shutter.

Highly recommend the Godox system if the Canon doesn't pan out.

I've got two V860II's and they have been great with the Xpro controller. I will buy their bigger studio lights when the time comes.

It's a great walk around lens and definitely worth a look see.

Who shoots with Sony? I have been thinking about making the switch but I'm so confused on which one to buy.

I dont shoot Sony but I consider myself a pretty big photography nerd and I'm always on photo forums.

You have 2 routes, crop or full frame. You have to figure out why you want to switch, for smaller size gear, better resolution, better low light capabilities, faster AF, better video capabilities etc. then go from there.

a6xxx series is smaller compact size, fast AF in new models

a7III: 24mp full frame, good AF (very similar to AF system in a9), eye AF, animal eye AF, 10FPS, more lenses avaliable than a6xxx series, less lenses than Canon, can adapt your Canon glass with adapter, great for video

a7rIII: same as above but higher resolution 42mp, lesser AF system, better EVF/refresh rate,

a9: 24mp full frame, fastest AF in Sony lineup (arguably the world now with new firmware released), all of the FPS's, better EVF with no blackout

Theres more differences than those obviously but some basics to go off of. Budget is usually the big factor. Switching systems isn't cheap.

A7III here. Love it, recommend it.

I also have a Sony RX10M3 that is a great all in one, with an awesome zoom range if you don't want to go interchangeable lenses.

What's some good software for photo import/storage? I'm not a fan of "photos" on windows 10, and I don't like the UI of Picasa.
Ideally I'd like software that I can create a folder/album of a trip and then search inside that album to find photos/videos by device brand (I.E. gopro and Canon since those are my 2 main import sources).
