No. I have them. But haven't installed them yet. Still running the TRD injectors that came with the blower.

Mine was doing something similar after I installed my FIC injectors. It turned out to be that the o-ring on the supercharger lid had a crack in it. Sprayed brake cleaner all around the lid and it never acted like you would expect it to for having a leak.

I will quadruple check the lid tonight. Although, I haven't fooled with it since the blower was installed. We'll see.

Last week @JustDSM received a very reasonable labor rate from me. I figured its the least we can do to assist in this tuning movement! (I drank the beer :D)

I owe @Roostfactor huge for his labor, parts, porting, meeting Eve, driving a highly modified S/C truck, and more!

This would be possible on the 3rd Gens, as the ECUs control the voltage, but the Alt-S circuit doesn't go through the ECU on 2nd Gens so it's not possible.

Still haven’t gotten a solution from hptuners. They insist I need to purchase credits even though I already have 4

Edit update: somehow I believe it licensed loginfailed’s tune which has his VIN. So when trying to write the copied tune it refuses because I licensed his vehicle. Im still talking with hp to resolve it

I had a similar thing happen to me. Are you using the latest software? Did you download the standard version and then the beta version over that, then use the beta to write your tune?

I mistankenly used the standard version (before the standard version worked on Tacomas) and when I went to write JustDSM's modification of my tune, it didn't work, saying I needed to license the tune. When I wrote a ticket, they thought that I was using a custom tune and needed to license it, but didn't realize it was JustDSM's modification of my tune. When I downloaded the new software (standard version first, beta second and then used the beta to read and write), everything worked like it is supposed to. While you're waiting for an answer, might be worth a shot...

for someone who has ZERO experience with tuning, can someone break down what something like this from HPtuners could benefit me and my stock 2010 4.0? In other words, can I see some definitive HP gainzzz with JUST a tune?

I don't think you would see much, if you had a supercharger I think it would make a good bit of difference.

@JustDSM is naturally asprirated and saw some gains from just a tune.
    Are you standard or auto?
There are many things you are able to do even with a completely stock eng/trans. Adjust timing, throttle mapping, vvti, trans shift points and firmness to your liking and driving style, etc. I think there are mpg improvements to be had and there is definitely a lot of fine tuning to get YOUR truck running perfectly! No two engines are exactly the same and Toyota has to program the ecu for emissions, not power. With a good tune you can increase both.

You can make your truck drive totally different than stock and tailor it to your liking!!! Throttle mapping alone can make your truck feel so much more responsive you would think someone put a bigger engine in it.
