Beyond an amazing way to be about being a great person. Sure, he's rich as hell (although, "only" the 163rd richest American...let's show that to the rich "ranked" above him), but that is HUGE amounts of greatness. Brings a tear to my eye knowing there are still great people doing great things. Early estimates are around $40 million!

Oh, I agree with you. Wish this man was the keynote at my wife's graduation and extend this offer. 10 years later, and she still mutters, "I am NEVER going to pay this off!" What a great headstart on our careers that would've been to not have to worry about thousands of dollars that can never be forgiven, consolidated, and if she passes away, I get her debt! yay

 

I read that yesterday. Man who is probably mentally unstable and alcoholic who purposely injects himself with deadly snake venom for years meets an ambitious biotech entrepreneur with questionable situational ethics standards. Experiments ensue. All for the good of humanity. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. A fascinating and slightly uncomfortable read from more than one one angle.

I was raised that unmanageable debt was bad. If you can't pay for it, you don't need it. I took classes as I could afford them, then realized it was a lot easier to have my uncle pay for them instead. He also made sure I got top-notch technical and leadership training.

We already have a program that offers free college tuition. It's called the G.I. Bill. Raise your right hand hand repeat after me. "I, state your name, do solemnly swear to support and defend the constitution of the United States..."

 

Hell yeah, Texas vet with a GI bill and buying funny money food stamps two for one. I always had cash in my pocket strolling around Austin.
